For AVI files, you can choose the output AVI codec from a list of available codecs, such as XVID, DivX, Microsoft MPEG-4 Video codec, Microsoft H.261 and H.263, Cinepak Codec by Radius, Intel Indeo Video, Intel IYUV Codec, MainConcept DV Codec...including all the AVI codecs installed on your system. For MPEG files, you can choose MPEG1 or MPEG2. You can also set the output file's video bitrate, video size, framerate, audio format, audio bitrate, channels, etc.
